Chief of the State Migration Service received Ambassador of People’s Republic of China in our country

May 30, 2013 Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev received the delegation headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China in our country Khun Tsyuin.

Greeting the guests sincerely F.Nabiyev gave information about successful implementation of state policy in the field of migration, improvement of legislation in this field, establishment history and activity of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, realized measures and achieved results. Emphasizing extension of international relations of the State Migration Service, Service chief noted positive result of coordination of migration legislation with modern standards in recent years.

In his turn thanking for warm reception Ambassador X.Tsyuin touched the 20th anniversary of relations between the People’s Republic of China and Azerbaijan, mentioned visits of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in 1994 and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in 2005 and 2008 to the People’s Republic of China.

Ambassador stressed importance of learning practice of the State Migration Service as well and stated that he will do his best for further development of existing bilateral relations between the People’s Republic of China and Azerbaijan.

At the meeting exchange of views was carried out on mutual cooperation between the parties, strengthening joint relations to fight against illegal migration and issues arising interest in the migration field.
