Chief of the State Migration Service received Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in our country

On June 5, 2013 Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Firudin Nabiyev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey in the Republic of Azerbaijan and delegation headed by him.

Sincerely greeting the guest F.Nabiyev talked about rapid development of friendship and economic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey and development perspectives of existing cooperation between relevant state agencies of the two countries. Service chief gave information on measures implemented within the activities of the State Migration Service, improvement of migration legislation in accordance with international standards and modern demands, fight against illegal migration in the territory of the country.

Thanking to the Chief of the State Migration Service for warm reception Ambassador Ismayil Alper Joshkun highly appreciated measures carried out within state control in migration field and spoke about successfully developing bilateral relations in migration sphere as in other areas. Speaking about Azerbaijan-Turkey friendship the Ambassador stated that for this reason citizens of the brother countries regularly visit each other.

Exchange of views on perspectives of cooperation in the field of labour migration, sharing of experience, strengthening fight against illegal migration and other issues was carried out at the meeting.
