698 foreigners violating the requirements of country legislation were revealed by State Migration Service during the last week

Measures implemented by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic on strengthen­i­n­g­ s­tate ­­­control over migration processes, as well as preventing illegal migration in Azerbaijan Republic were continued during the last week as well.

On December 17-23, 2012 inspections have been conducted in a number of entrepreneurial subjects in the country by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic in order to reveal and prevent cases of foreigners’ and stateless persons’ involvement in paid labour activity without obtaining work permit by violating requirements of country legislation. As a result of taken measures violation cases have been revealed and relevant decisions on 7 entrepreneurial subjects have been adopted.

As well as during the last week 698 cases concerning infringement of current legislative requirements by foreigners and stateless persons without observing rules of stay, temporary and permanent residence in Azerbaijan Republic have been revealed, 57 persons of them were fined and their residence in the country was legalized, decisions on 611 foreigners to leave the territory of the country within 48 hours and decisions on 30 foreigners to be expelled out of the country in administrative order were adopted.

Relevant measures are being continued by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic towards revealing and preventing illegal migration in the capital and the regions of the country.
