61 foreigners residing with invalid documents and involved in labour activity without work permit were detained

Measures on strengthening state control over migration processes, as well as preventing illegal migration are constantly continued by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic.

On June 11-16, 2012 relevant activities against illegal migration were carried out by the State Migration Service in the capital, as well as Salyan, Lankaran, Masalli and Yardimli regions of the country. As a result of the relevant measures 61 foreigners residing with invalid documents and involved in labour activity without work permit were revealed and relevant decisions were adopted on them in compliance with Articles 339 and 340.1 of the Administrative Offences Code of Azerbaijan Republic.

Intensive measures are being continued by the State Migration Service in the capital and the regions towards revealing and preventing illegal migration.
