Next event on migration issues held in Yevlakh

Regional conference on migration issues organized jointly by State Migration Service and Yevlakh city Executive Authority was held on May 31, 2012.

Authorized representatives of law-enforcement bodies, responsible employees of executive authorities, territorial executive representatives, heads of municipalities and local entrepreneurs of Yevlakh, Tartar, Barda, Aghdam, Mingachevir, Zardab, Aghjabadi, Ujar, Beylagan and Fuzuli regions participated in the conference.

First deputy head of Yevlakh city Executive Authority Ganimat Garashov opened the event with opening remarks. Chief of Head Department of the State Migration Service Ismayil Abdullayev in his speech stated that as a result of successful policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev in recent years all the spheres of the economy develops rapidly.  This factor has turned Azerbaijan an attractive country for foreign investors and labour migrants.

I. Abdullayev gave broad information on provisions of normative legal acts regulating stay, temporary and permanent residence of foreigners and stateless persons arriving in Azerbaijan Republic, their involvement in paid labour activity.

At the end of the conference questions arising interest of participants were answered by senior officials of the Service.

Measures on public awareness in migration sphere are being continued by the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Republic in other regions as well.
