A Remembrance Day event held at the State Migration Service
The Personnel of the State Migration Service has visited Victory Park in observance of the September 27 – Remembrance Day.
The cherished memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty was commemorated with deep respect, and floral tributes were laid at the Victory Monument.
An event dedicated to Remembrance Day was also held at the headquarters of the State Migration Service.
The event attendees first laid floral tributes at the "Victory Corner" at the headquarters of the State Migration Service, symbolizing our Army's historic victory during the Patriotic War.
The event continuing in the State Migration Service's assembly hall began with the playing of the National Anthem. The cherished memory of the prominent statesman and National Leader Heydar Aliyev, as well as our heroes who attained the peak of martyrdom for the sake of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Opening the event with introductory remarks, Habil Naghiyev, the Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor, stated that the people of Azerbaijan and our glorious Army, under the resolute leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Mr. Ilham Aliyev, liberated our lands from occupation by achieving a magnificent victory in the 44-day Patriotic War. He emphasized that the unity of the state, the people, and the army, the steadfast will of our people, and the valor demonstrated by our military personnel played the decisive role in securing the victory. He also highlighted about the special attention and care shown by the state to the families of martyrs and veterans, as well as the reconstruction work and the phased resettlement processes carried out in the liberated territories.
At the end of the event, a film depicting the heroism of our martyrs was shown.
