“Solidarity Marathon – IMRF 2026” running competition held by the State Migration Service

The “Solidarity Marathon – IMRF 2026” running competition, dedicated to the Second International Migration Review Forum, was jointly organized by the State Migration Service and partner organizations.

The event was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, the Public Union of Turkish-Azerbaijani Businessmen and Industrialists, the International Organization for Migration, and the Seaside Boulevard Department.

Employees of migration authorities, foreigners residing in the country, people inviting them, representatives of government institutions, compatriots living abroad, migration volunteers, as well as members of Advisory, Migrant, and Public councils operating under the State Migration Service took part in the competition.

The purpose of the competition was to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen the integration of foreigners into local society, and ensure the effective organization of participants’ leisure time.

The route started in front of the “Deniz Mall” shopping center and covered a 5‑kilometer circular course in the direction of State Flag Square.

According to the results, in the men’s category Bakhtiyar Asgarov won first place, Elshad Nasibov took second place, and Seymur Huseynov came in third.

In the women’s category, the top three places were taken respectively by Anna Yusupova, Yuliya Belkova, and Marcel Sautos.

The top three participants were awarded cups, medals, diplomas, and valuable prizes.

Gratitude was expressed to the partner organizations for their support in organizing the event, and they were presented with letters of appreciation.
