Chief of the State Migration Service met with officials of the Islamic Development Bank

Vusal Huseynov, Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor, has met with the delegation led by Mr. Riad Ragueb Ahmed, Secretary-General of the Islamic Development Bank Group.

Welcoming the guests, the Chief of the Service provided information about the main areas of activity of the State Migration Service and the key priorities of the country’s migration policy. He emphasized the importance of expanding international cooperation in the field of migration management and implementing new projects in this direction.

Expressing gratitude for the cordial meeting, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Mr. Riad Ragueb Ahmed, gave information about the organizational preparations for the Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank to be held in Azerbaijan in 2026. An exchange of opinion was held on possible support mechanisms to ensure the successful organization of the event, as well as other issues of mutual interest to the parties.
