Information of the State Migration Service

As is known, according to the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from January 1, 2025, the temporary staying period of the citizens of the Russian Federation arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan has been determined 90 days within one calendar year.

In order to calculate the unused temporary staying period of the citizens of the Russian Federation in the country within a calendar year, the electronic calculator "Check your temporary staying period" is available on the official web information resource of the State Migration Service. The electronic calculator allows the citizens of the Russian Federation traveling to Azerbaijan under visa-free regime to check their unused temporary staying days within the current calendar year before arriving in territory of the country.

We kindly remind that citizens of the Russian Federation (including minors) who wish to stay or reside in country for more than 90 days within a year must apply to the State Migration Service in person via the "migration services" desk at the ASAN Service Centers or online via the "Electronic Services" section of the Service's official website for an extension of temporary staying period or for a temporary residence permit before the expiration of their temporary staying period in case there are grounds envisaged by the legislation.
