Chief of the State Migration Service met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to our country

Vusal Huseynov, Chief of the State Migration Service and II rank state migration service counselor, met with Qasim Mohiuddin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the Chief of the Service provided detailed information about migration management in our country and its priority directions. It was emphasized that these directions aim to ensure maximum convenience for migrants in our country, simplify administrative procedures, and apply innovative approaches. Touching upon the dynamics of migration between the two countries, Vusal Huseynov highlighted the importance of conducting joint awareness-raising activities in the fields of promoting regular migration and combating irregular migration.

Expressing gratitude for the warm reception, the Ambassador underlined the importance of the partnership between the two countries in the field of migration and stated that efforts would continue to further develop the existing relations.

The meeting also included discussions on other issues of mutual interest.
