“Check your temporary staying period” electronic calculator launched for Russian citizens traveling to Azerbaijan

As of January 1, 2025, the temporary staying period for citizens of the Russian Federation and stateless persons permanently residing in the Russian Federation arriving in the Republic of Azerbaijan under the visa-free regime has been determined 90 days within a calendar year.

In order to ensure compliance with requirements of legislation and convenience for the citizens of the Russian Federation in planning their visits to the country, the State Migration Service has introduced "Check your temporary staying period" electronic calculator on its official internet resource to calculate the unused temporary staying period within a calendar year.

Through this electronic innovation, citizens of the Russian Federation visiting Azerbaijan under the visa-free regime will be able to check online their unused their temporary staying period in the country during the current calendar year.

For this process, it is necessary to enter the “Check your temporary staying period” section on the official internet resource of the Service and add the person's entry and exit dates to the country (in chronological order) during the current calendar year in the opened window. After sending the request, the number of days of unused temporary staying period in the country during the current calendar year is displayed in real time.
