Meeting held with the Migrant Council under the State Migration Service

The next meeting of the Migrant Council, established with the aim of ensuring more active involvement of migrants residing in our country in migration management, improving the protection of their rights and freedoms, enhancing the quality of services provided to foreigners and stateless persons, as well assessing the impact of decisions made in the field of migration on the daily lives of foreigners, was held at the State Migration Service.

During the meeting, organizational issues were discussed, and the importance of strengthening cooperation between the State Migration Service and migrants, as well as migrant communities, was emphasized.

Additionally, the election of the Council Chairman and Secretary was discussed during the meeting. Telman Mammadov, a citizen of the Russian Federation, was elected as the Chairman of the Migrant Council, and Assel Aubakirova, a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was elected as the Secretary of the Migrant Council.

The event also included consultations on the problems faced by migrants in Azerbaijan and discussions on other issues of interest.
