The Chief of the State Migration Service met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to our country

The Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to our country Mr. Hisham Mohamed Nagy.

Welcoming the guest warmly the Chief of the Service noted that the importance of active cooperation of the two countries within the international organizations and provided detailed information about the simplification of the legislation and the amendments made to the Migration Code. Emphasizing expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation with a number of countries in the field of migration , Vusal Huseynov stressed the importance of cooperation in the fight against irregular migration.

Expressing his gratitude to the Chief of the Service for the cordial reception, the Ambassador highlighted the significance of cooperation in the field of migration between the two countries and expressed his hope that the current relations will further develop.

During the meeting, the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of migration were discussed, and views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest, including the issues of temporary stay and residence of Egyptian citizens in our country.
