The Chief of the State Migration Service met with the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Representation in Azerbaijan

The Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov met with the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representation in Azerbaijan Ms. Bik Lum.

Welcoming the guests warmly, the Chief of the Service discussed interagency cooperation and provided information about the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation in the Global Refugee Forum. Vusal Huseynov emphasized the activities carried out by the State Migration Service in protecting the rights of refugees and asylum seekers.

Highly appreciating the work done within the cooperation with the State Migration Service in the protection of the rights of refugees and asylum seekers the UNHCR Representative in Azerbaijan Ms. Bik Lum expressed her hope that the existing relations would be further strengthened.
