The next training sessions conducted within the "Migration School - 5" Project

Trainings of the "Migration School - 5" Project are being continued within the framework of the Regional Training Center on Migration at the initiative of the State Migration Service and the Representation of the International Organization for Migration in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The next trainings in this direction were conducted by Vahid Gahramanov, Chief of the Migration Policy and Legal Support Head Department of the State Migration Service, Natavan Bayramova, Deputy Chief of the Public Relations Department, Konul Jabbarova, Chief of the Reception and Application Processing Division, Sanan Hajiyev, representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Azerbaijan, Lamiya Rzayeva-Ahmadli, representative of the International Center for Development of Migration Policy, Fidan Fataliyeva, a trainer from the Academy of Justice and a member of the Mediation Council, as well as Kabira Mammadova, professional coach and trainer.

The trainings focused on the topics of "Migration Policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan", "Media Competence", "Procedures for Reception and Processing of Application by the State Migration Service", "Role of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the International Protection of and Management of Migration", "Role of International Organizations in Migration Management (IOM)", "Communication Skills" and "Emotional Intelligence".

Furthermore, in the framework of the Migration School Project, the participants visited the Call Center and Baku city Detention Center for Illegal Migrants of the Service. Moreover, study visits to Khachmaz and Guba cities were organized. The participants got acquainted with the work of the Khachmaz Regional Migration Department, the migration department of the "Guba ASAN Service" center, as well as visited the Guba Genocide Memorial Complex.

It should be noted that the main purpose of the project is to enhance the knowledge of young people who will work in various fields on migration in the future, to arouse their interest in this field, to provide them with professional skills, and to inform them about public administration.
