The Chief of State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov met with members of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce

An event on "Migration management in Azerbaijan against the background of new challenges" organized by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce was held.

The event was attended by Vusal Huseynov, the Chief of State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor, the leadership of the AHK Azerbaijan and members of the organization, diplomatic missions and representatives of international organizations.

Highly appreciating the activities of the AHK Azerbaijan, the Chief of State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov stressed the importance of these meetings and thanked the organizers. Chief of the service underlined that State Migration Service always pays special attention to the development of dialogue with entrepreneurs and always keeps the application of innovative methods on the agenda. In particular, during the pandemic, a number of important steps have been taken to simplify services provided to entrepreneurs, create new e-services, apply various benefits, legalize migrants within the country and promote legal migration.

Vusal Huseynov noted that as a result of the large-scale reconstruction and restoration work carried out in the liberated territories under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the growing demand for foreign labor was taken into account, and quotas were increased. He said that forecast information in all areas is being seriously investigated and preventive measures are being taken.

Talking about the social projects of the Service, Vusal Huseynov expressed hope that in the near future a Migrants` Council will be established under the State Migration Service, which will contribute to the improvement of living conditions of migrants in our country.

Then Chief of the Service exchanged views on issues of interest to business people and answered questions.
