An event dedicated to the elimination of statelessness held in Khachmaz

The State Migration Service continues to take measures to eliminate statelessness and raise awareness in this field.

The next such event was held in Khachmaz. On February 25, 2022, a meeting was held with foreigners and stateless persons residing in the territories covered by the Khachmaz Regional Mgration Department under the leadership of Chief of the Citizenship Issues Head Department, III rank state migration service counselor Rza Talibov. At the meeting the solution of the problems of 18 stateless persons, as well as 13 foreigners whose passports have expired were discussed, and the difficulties they face were listened to.

At the end, a mobile document reception was organized in order to document foreigners and stateless persons residing in the service area of ​​the Khachmaz Regional Migration Department.
