Chief of the State Migration Service met with the President of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society
Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov met with the delegation led by Novruz Aslanov, the President of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, member of the Milli Majlis.
Warmly welcoming the guests, Chief of the Service, Vusal Huseynov, expressed hissatisfaction with the cooperation between the State Migration Service and Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society noted the activities carried out by the Service, and stated the importance of discussing the future development of joint cooperation and priority areas.
He emphasized that the various support measures provided to migrants by Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, including legal assistance and language courses, play an important role in their integration into society.
Chief of the Service highly appreciated the joint implementation of such measures for vulnerable groups, including migrants, and other important steps taken in this regard, both during the pandemic and the Patriotic War.
Expressing his satisfaction with the meeting, the President of Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, Novruz Aslanov, highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation, and noted that the events and projects implemented by the State Migration Service are especially welcomed by the society. Novruz Aslanov expressed his confidence that projects will continue to be successfully implemented in the future together with the International Red Crescent Society, which includes regional centers and divisions operating in different regions of our republic, and the mutually beneficial relations will expand further.
At the meeting, views were exchanged on future cooperation prospects.
In the end, Novruz Aslanov presented the 100-year jubilee medal of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, which is distinguished for its activities on humanitarian missions, to Chief of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov, for the effective cooperation that lasted for many years.
