An event organized by the State Migration Service within the framework of "Child Rights Month"

Within the framework of October 20 - November 20 "Child Rights Month", an event was organized for the children of persons who received refugee status in Azerbaijan in order to promote attention and care for children.

Rufat Aliyev, senior inspector of the refugee status determination department, welcomed the event participants and emphasized that the State Migration Service always attaches importance to the protection of children's rights. He familiarized the participants with the agenda of the event organized within the framework of "Child Rights Month".

Later, Turan Jahangirova, the sector chief of the Ombudsman's office, informed about the work done in the direction of protecting human rights and freedoms, as well as the measures to be implemented within the framework of "Child Rights Month". She said that the problems of foreign children are always taken into consideration by the Ombudsman office.

After answering the questions and appeals of the participants of the event, an excursion to the "Baku Zoological Park" was organized in accordance with the agenda of the event, which was prepared for the purpose of effective and entertaining leisure time of the children of persons who received refugee status in Azerbaijan.
