Chief of the State Migration Service met with the Secretary General of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova
Vusal Huseynov,the Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor met with Serghei Diaconu,the Secretary General of Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Republic of Moldova.
Warmly welcoming the guests, the Chief of the Service pointed out that the bilateral relations between our countries are developing successfully in various fields, including the migration field.
Vusal Huseynov gave information about the activities of the State Migration Service, the innovations applied in the management of migration processes, the measures implemented in the direction of raising the potential on migration issues. The Chief of the Service informed the guests about the “Supporting the Establishment Regional Training Center on Migration in Azerbaijan” Project and trainings implemented in the framework of the project. He underlined that the project implemented by the State Migration Service together with the Representation of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Azerbaijan has been made an important contribution to the education and training process in the field of migration and the preparing of specialists in this field in the region. Appreciating the active participation of the Republic of Moldova within the mentioned project, the Chief of the Service noted that there are opportunities for further strengthening of cooperation in the direction of ensuring the activity of the Center as an institution.
Serghei Diaconu, who thanked to the Chief of the Service for the warm welcome, pointed out that he will not spare any efforts in the direction of the further expanding cooperation relations for the sake of the welfare of our countries.
The importance of exchaning experience in the field of managing migration processes was emphasized, the perspectives of joint cooperation were discussed and opinion exchange on other issues of mutual interest was carried out at the meeting.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan in Moldova, Gudsi Osmanov also participated in the meeting.
