A meeting held on the migration issues of the foreign students

A meeting dedicated to the migration issues of foreign students as been held with the participation of the employees of the State Migration Service, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education and 44 higher education institutions operating in our country, and a member of the Public Council under SMS on the eve of the next academic year.

At the meeting, removal of several concessions applied in connection with the "COVID-19" pandemic, current terms of entry to and exit from the country, the importance submission of documents in time and correctly, and timely collection of ready documents were brought to the attention of participants. Furthermore, the issues of foreign students' attitude to educational processes, attendance, prevention of attempts to abuse the opportunities created in the education sector for legalization were touched upon, and the importance of foreign students' registration on the atis.edu.az portal of the Ministry of Science and Education was emphasized.

During the meeting, extensive interactive discussions were held, detailed information was provided on other administrative-legal issues arising from the legal status of foreigners.

In the end, the questions of the participants were answered.
