An awareness-raising event held in Gazakh district

The Ganja Regional Migration Department of the State Migration Service has held an awareness-raising event on "The role of the State Migration Service in the management of migration processes" at the Youth House in Gazakh.

Information was provided about the activities of the State Migration Service, services rendered to foreigners and stateless persons and procedures envisaged by the legislation at the event attended by employees of the Gazakh district executive power and relevant government agencies, executive representations and municipalities, as well as entrepreneurs operating in the district.    

Furthermore, the measures taken by the State Migration Service to combat illegal migration were highlighted and importance of interaction with relevant government agencies, as well as citizens was underlined.

At the end of the event, mobile services were provided to 8 persons. Five of them were issued temporary residence permits, and one person was granted with a decision on citizenship affiliation. Documents were received from one person in order to establish his/her citizenship affiliation. One person was provided with the list of documents required for obtaining temporary residence permit.
