Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and State Migration Service of Ukraine signed

The State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Migration Service of Ukraine have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the migration sphere in an online format. The document was signed by Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov and Chairperson of the State Migration Service of Ukraine Nataliia Naumenko.

The memorandum covers the regulation of migration processes by expanding the legal framework of cooperation between the two countries in the field of migration, asylum and citizenship, development of institutional relations in the field of asylum, intensification of information exchange, as well as exchange of best practices.

At the signing event of the Memorandum of Understanding touched upon possible related with issues of cooperation, and contribution of joint activities to the work of the Regional Training Center for Migration, which will be established in Azerbaijan was also noted.

The online event was attended by a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, employees of the relevant departments of the Migration Services of both sides, representatives of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well.
