The Shirvan Regional Migration Department held an online awareness event

The event was dedicated to "Promoting the issuance of applications for work permits (extension) using electronic services, discussion of the difficulties in meeting the needs for the labor force and the preparation of forecast data on the needs for migrant workers for the coming year", as well as "Combating human trafficking and forced labor crimes".

At the meeting which was attended by heads and representatives of large companies and enterprises operating in the service area of the Shirvan regional migration department detailed information was provided on the management of migration processes in Azerbaijan during the pandemic, the MIGAZ mobile application, e-services rendered by the Service. The difficulties in applying for a work permit (extension) using electronic services and meeting the needs for the workforce were discussed. The participants were also informed about the essence of human trafficking, forced labor and illegal migration, the dangers they pose, as well as the protection measures taken by the state in this direction.

In the end, the questions of the participants were answered.
