A report meeting on the activities of the 3rd composition of the Public Council under the State Migration Service held

Opening the event, Chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov praised the activities of the Public Council, noted the close cooperation, as well as numerous meetings held during the year. He stressed the importance of cooperation with the Public Council in terms of both the formation of migration policy and the improvement of migration services.

Then, a video reflecting the 5-year activity of the Public Council was watched and the chairman of the Council Azar Allahveranov made a presentation on the activities for 2019-2021. Reporting on the work done in the past period in cooperation with the State Migration Service, A.Allahveranov also stressed the activities of working groups led by members of the Public Council. Noting that humanitarian aid was provided to 355 migrant families, as well as 7 seminars, 5 trainings, 4 awareness-raising campaigns were held, Azar Allahveranov gave detailed information about visits to frontline regions during the Patriotic War and surveys conducted in IDP communities.

The reports of a number of NGO leaders were presented at the meeting, and the sides exchanged views on topics of mutual interest.

Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov presented honorary diplomas to the members of the Public Council.
