2021 declared by the State Migration Service “Year of improvement of the performance of Regional Migration Departments”

By Order №31 of the Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov dated February 17, 2021, the year 2021 has been announced as the “Year of improvement of the performance of Regional Migration Departments”. The aim is to further improve the level of services provided to foreigners and stateless persons residing in the regions, as well as to ensure efficiency and awareness in the fight against illegal migration.

In this regard, the approved Action Plan also reflects the issues of effective regulation of migration processes in the region, improvement of performance of regional migration departments and strengthening of capacity building. Also, in connection with the “Year of improvement of the performance of Regional Migration Departments”, it is planned to provide information on the work done by the relevant executive structural divisions and bodies included in the system in the appropriate periods (semi-annually, annually).
