The round table held on the topic "Volunteering - an example of service to the people and the state"

The “Migration Volunteer” Public Union and volunteers of the Youth Union of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) Binagadi District Organization have jointly held a round table on the topic “Volunteering - an example of service to the people and the state.” Making  opening remarks at the event, the Chairman of the NAP Binagadi District Organization Ramiz Goyushov, expressed his satisfaction with the friendly meeting. He said that volunteering, which has been formed since ancient times, is now more widespread. As a result of the special attention paid by President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva to this area, young people are showing a growing interest in participating as volunteers in international events held in our country. This is commendable in terms of their mastering professional skills and legislative base.

Expressing satisfaction with the mutual cooperation, the Deputy Chairman of the Youth Union of the NAP Binagadi District Organization, head of the NAP volunteers group, Anar Aliyev, stressed the importance of exchange of experience and realization of joint projects with Migration Volunteers.

The chairperson of the “Migration Volunteer” Public Union, Aydan Hashimova, talked about the steps taken by the State Migration Service to stimulate the activities of volunteers. She also informed about the social projects of migration volunteers to help low-income families during the pandemic and the distribution of medical protection supplies to foreigners. It was also stressed that the Migration Volunteers, who are distinguished by being active during the 44-day Patriotic War, also contributed to conveying our Victorious Army's bravery and the just position of our people to the international community. Then information was given about the activities of the departments of the “Migration Volunteer” Public Union.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.
