State Migration Service held a blood donation campaign

On the eve of the 14th anniversary of the State Migration Service, as well as the professional holiday of migration officials, a blood donation campaign has been held at the Baku Regional Migration Department.

The campaign, jointly organized by the State Migration Service and the Blood Bank (Central Blood Bank) of the National Hematology and Transfusiology Center, aims to help patients suffering from thalassemia and hemophilia, especially children.

Employees of the State Migration Service, Migration Volunteers and representatives of various volunteer organizations that are members of the Union of Voluntary Organizations of Azerbaijan participated in the blood donation action.

The health condition of the donors was checked by the doctors of the special medical brigade of the Central Blood Bank. Blood samples taken will be used appropriately after laboratory testing.
