Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service participated in a video conference on domestic violence and children's rights

The State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs has held an event in the video conference format dedicated to the discussion of issues arising from the implementation of measures envisaged by the "National Action Plan to Combat Domestic Violence in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2023", as well as "Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy on Children for 2020-2025" approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 27, 2020.

Deputy Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Elman Aliyev, Chief of Refugee Status Determination Department, senior migration service counselor Aydan Seyidova and Deputy Chief of the Department, junior migration service counselor Afsana Huseynova participated in the event, attended by representatives of government agencies and other institutions

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the State Committee Bahar Muradova, Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov, Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Hikmat Abdullayev and Deputy Minister of Education Firudun Qurbanov thanked the President for the adoption of these documents and expressed confidence that the protection of women's and children's rights is one of the priorities of state policy in our country, as well as the effective cooperation of relevant agencies in the implementation of all items of the Action Plan will contribute to this work.

Later, the issues arising from the above-mentioned documents and the tasks ahead were discussed.
