An online meeting held between the State Migration Service and employers in our country

The State Migration Service (SMS) held an online event for raising awareness of employers. 

In the event joined by enterprise managers, local and foreign individual entrepreneurs and their representatives Chief of the Head Department for Regulation of Migration Processes of the State Migration Service, 3rd rank state migration service counselor Ismayil Abdullayev gave extensive information to the participants about the "Rules for determining the labor migration quota" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 124 of March 14, 2016, need for quota forecasts, the proper completion of the forecast-information form and the requirements for migrant workers.

He noted that, employers willing to employ foreign labor force should present the forecast-information form on the demand for foreign labor force for the next year to the State Migration Service after fully completing it by indicating the occupations in the Employment Classification and confirming it with signature and seal. The chief of head department noted that the application form was posted on the official website of the Service (www.migration.gov.az). He noted that information on the codes of occupations by employment classification can be found on the website of the State Migration Service or through this link www.azstat.org/classification .

I.Abdullayev drew attention to the obligations of employers in obtaining (extension) work permits. He gave information about the concessions made by SMS during the pandemic.

Then presentation of the newly created electronic application form was made. The questions of participants were answered.
