According to the Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated July 17, 2020, No 256 period of hardened special quarantine regime is extended until 06:00 a.m. on August 5, 2020. The special regime will cover Baku, Sumgait, Ganja, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad, Mingachevir cities and Absheron, Barda, Siyazan, Shaki, Khachmaz, Goranboy, Goygol regions.

During this period, the activity of the State Migration Service, as well as permission of foreigners willing to temporarily leave their place of stay or residence will be implemented in accordance with the rules applied since July 21. Moreover, taking into consideration the extension of the permission period given to leave the place of stay or residence from 2 hours to 3 hours, it is necessary to submit all documents (including relevant medical references) required with legislation during the application for temporary or permanent residence permits.
