To the attention of foreigners and stateless persons with regard to the restriction on movement
A decision has been taken by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on application of restrictions on movement in the country from April 5, 2020 within the framework of the special quarantine regime. These restrictions on movement will also be applied with regard to foreigners and stateless persons staying and residing in the country (hereinafter referred to as – foreigner).
In this case, a foreigner should send a message to the number 8103 to obtain a permission to leave his/her place of residence. The relevant index and information proving the identity of the foreigner should be indicated in the message.
The necessary information about foreigners consists of the followings:
- For those who temporarily or permanently reside – the series and number of the permission card for temporary or permanent residence (MYI (DYI) 1111111);
- For those whose temporary staying period has been extended – the series and number of the decision on the extension of the temporary staying period (MOM 1111111);
- For those who have been registered upon place of stay – the number of (registration) the notification on the registration upon place of stay (OYQ11111111).
Foreigners who have been registered upon place of stay, as well as whose temporary staying period has been extended with the relevant decision can use the “Track of applications” e-service (https://eservice.migration.gov.az/public/application-track) on the website of the State Migration Service in order to get the number of the abovementioned documents. In this case, it is important to include information on passport number, date of birth and citizenship.
Persons who have been granted permits for temporary and permanent residence, however unable to obtain the permission cards can receive series and numbers of the relevant cards via email after the payment of the state fee envisaged by the legislation.
