Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov met with the Minister of Interior of Bulgaria Mladen Marinov
Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov met with the delegation led by the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Mladen Marinov.
Sincerely greeting the guests, the Service chief noted successful development of relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria. Talking about the achievements of the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Vusal Huseynov mentioned full provision of stability in our rapidly and socio-economically developing country, as well as protection of rights and freedoms of foreigners at the high level. He stated that the State Migration Service is interested in development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the field of migration with a number of countries, as well as expansion of contractual and legal framework in order to protect the rights of migrants, including our citizens living abroad.
The Service chief noted that organization of high-level mutual visits of the heads of responsible entities of both states, as well as expert meetings positively contribute to the expansion of existing cooperation.
Mladen Marinov expressed his satisfaction of his visit to Azerbaijan and development of bilateral relations. He mentioned that expansion of cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, as well as organization of intensive meetings will open new opportunities for the regulation of migration processes in both countries.
During the meeting opinion exchange was conducted on existing cooperation and issues in the perspective.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, police lieutenant-general Ismat Aliyev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Bulgaria Nargiz Gurbanova attended the meeting, as well.
Later, Minister of Interior of Bulgaria Mladen Marinov got familiarized with the Heydar Aliyev Museum of the Service and wrote his heartfelt words in the memory book of the museum.
