100 foreigners detained within the measures against illegal migration

As a result of the measures taken by the State Migration Service (SMS) against illegal migration 100 foreigners were detained during last week.

It was determined that 10 detained persons engaged in illegal labor activity, 1 person did not live at the registered address and 89 persons resided illegally in the territory of the country.

Administrative decisions were made on 81 persons who violated the migration legislation. Furthermore, relevant measures are taken for the expulsion of the rest of the foreigners from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Measures within the framework of fight against illegal migration are continued by the State Migration Service.
