A group of State Migration Service employees participated in the training

Training on “The essence of the new state program on the Azerbaijani language” has been organized at the headquarters of the State Migration Service.

Sevinj Aliyeva, head of the Monitoring Department of the Nasimi Institute of Linguistics at the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, PhD in philology, told about the development of Azerbaijan language for centuries, protection of its purity, the policy pursued by national leader Heydar Aliyev to maintain the purity of the Azerbaijani language and expand its application. She informed that the language policy of the national leader and the historic services rendered by him for development of the language are successfully continued by his worthy successor, President Ilham Aliyev.

S.Aliyeva stressed the importance of President Ilham Aliyev's Decree "On measures to protect the purity of the Azerbaijani language and further improve the use of the state language" dated November 1, 2018. She noted that the Decree is an important contribution to the further improvement of the state language.

It was emphasized that the purity of our mother tongue should be protected by every intellectual and every citizen, and that is our prior duty.

The questions of employees of the Service were answered and exchange of views was conducted at the end of the event.
