Chief of the State Migration Service met with the member of Saint Petersburg Government Oleg Kapitanov

Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov has met with the member of Saint Petersburg Government – Chair of the Committee on International Relations and Implementation of Migration Policy Oleg Kapitanov.

Talking about existing historic, as well as close neighborhood relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, Service chief noted the existence of strong friendly relations between heads of states of both countries, as well as particular role of numerous meetings in the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

At the meeting, information was given about measures taken by the State Migration Service, applied innovations, amendments made to the migration legislation. Furthermore, significance of mutual visits for exchanging practices, as well as enhancement of collaboration between migration entities of the two countries were mentioned.

Expressing his gratitude for sincere reception Oleg Kapitanov noted the good relations always existed between two countries and expressed his assurance of further successful continuation of the effective cooperation.

At the meeting, opinion exchange was conducted on several issues of mutual interest.
