Awareness raising event organized for foreign and local students at higher educational institutions in Ganja

With the purpose of promoting migration legislation an awareness raising event has been held by the Ganja Regional Migration Department for foreign and local students studying at higher educational institutions of the city at the Ganja State University. 

At the event detailed information was given about the establishment and activity of the State Migration Service, recent amendments to the migration legislation, rights and obligations of foreigners and stateless persons. The utmost importance of regulation of migration processes in terms of development and security of the country, as well as awareness raising events for prevention of illegal migration were mentioned.

Significance and perspectives of the MIGAZ mobile application developed with the purpose of facilitation of foreigners’ access to e-services and minimizing the time spent on applications were brought into attention of the participants. In the end questions that interested the foreign students were responded.
