Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov received Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to our country

Chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov has met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Azerbaijan Muriel Peneveyre.

Service chief mentioned importance of current political and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland based on cooperation and partnership. He stated that high-level mutual visits between two countries, regular participation of the Head of Azerbaijan in the Davos Forum in Switzerland and other significant events are obvious examples of strengthening of ties.

Service chief gave information about migration policy carried out by Azerbaijan, work implemented in the State Migration Service in recent years, large-scale projects realized for the purpose of integration of foreigners and stateless persons residing and working in our country into society.

Expressing appreciation for the sincere welcome, Ambassador Muriel Peneveyre mentioned importance of mutual cooperation and expansion of ties between relevant bodies of two countries.

Establishment of cooperation between migration authorities of two countries, expansion of contractual and legal framework, exchange of practice in the fields of mutual interests and perspectives of future cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
