Future cooperation issues discussed with United Nations Committee on Migrant Workers

Chief of the State Migration Service, lll rank state migration service counselor Vusal Huseynov has met with members of the UN Committee on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers.

The Service Chief Vusal Huseynov noted that special attention is paid to the protection of migrants' rights in our country. All conditions was set up for foreigners and stateless persons to enjoy their rights and freedoms. As a result of the dynamic growth of the country's economy, migrant workers is on the rise in the country. Vusal Huseynov noted that the principles of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families are always in the focus of attention in the regulation of migration relations.

The committee members thanked for the warm welcome and highly appreciated the migration policy implemented in Azerbaijan.

The issues of mutual cooperation was discussed at the meeting.
