Events within the framework of the “Peace Month” continue

Awareness raising event on “Peace is the guarantee of sustainable development and human rights” has been held in Lerik district which is included to the service area of the Lankaran Regional Migration Department within the framework of the “Peace month”.

Information on September 21 - International Peace Day was provided at the event held in Heydar Aliyev Center.

It was noted that promoting human rights, peace and tolerance, legal awareness raising of the population, and increasing their legal thinking and cultural level are among the most significant factors contributing to the development of democratic and legal state, as well as civil society.

It was mentioned that the Peace Day is an opportunity to establish strong relations not only among nations, but also families, society and public, as well as to consolidate fight against violence.

During the meeting, information on recent amendments to the Migration Code was provided, as well.

A mobile service was also organized by the Lankaran Regional Migration Department within the framework of the event. The reference on recognition of citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan was presented to 2 persons, as well as the list of required documents for temporary residence permit were presented to 3 persons.
