An awareness raising event on “Fight against human trafficking” held in Yardimly district which is included to the service area of Lankaran Regional Migration Department

In his opening speech I Deputy head of the Yardimly District Executive Authority Azar Khamiyev touched upon measures taken in order to prevent human trafficking and illegal migration.

Afterwards, Chief of the Lankaran Regional Migration Department Samadagha Abdullayev gave information about the essence, as well as consequences of human trafficking and illegal migration. He noted that the State Migration Service takes relevant measures towards implementation of the adopted documents relating to fight against human trafficking. He emphasized the significance of proceeding relevant campaigns with the purpose of conducting awareness-raising in the regions.
