Oath ceremony held for persons who adopted citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On July 26, 2019, a solemn oath ceremony was held at the State Migration Service (SMS), for the implementation of the Order signed by the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev on adoption of the citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan by 83 persons.

Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov greeted event participants and congratulated them on the occasion of this remarkable day. The Service chief emphasized the significance of citizenship right as one of the human rights. He also noted that during these years, convenient application procedures have been set up.

Under the leadership of President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, today Azerbaijan which is characterized as a tolerant, multicultural, and safe country differs with its dynamic development in social, economic, political, cultural and, overall, in all fields among the world countries. Due to this it is, indeed, a great honor and happiness to be a full-fledged citizen of Azerbaijan.

Later, 83 persons who adopted the citizenship took an oath of loyalty to the country by putting their hands on the Constitution in front of the Azerbaijani State Flag.

The event finalized with the performance of the National Anthem.
