184 foreigners detained within the measures against illegal migration

As a result of the measures taken by the State Migration Service against illegal migration 184 foreigners were detained during the last week. One of them was detected as a result of the measures jointly conducted with the State Security Service.

It was determined that 7 of them engaged in activity not relevant to declared purpose of the visit, 15 persons engaged in illegal labor activity, 3 persons did not live at the registered address and the other 159 persons resided illegally in the country.

Administrative decisions were made on 166 persons who violated the migration legislation. Furthermore, relevant measures are taken for the expulsion of the remaining foreigners from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
