170 foreigners detained within the measures against illegal migration

As a result of the measures taken by the State Migration Service against illegal migration 170 foreigners were detained last week.

It was determined that 14 of them engaged in activity not relevant to declared purpose of the visit, 23 persons engaged in illegal employment, 14 persons did not live at the registered address and the other 119 persons lived illegally in the country.

Administrative decisions were taken about 143 of the detained foreigners, measures are underway for the expulsion of the remaining foreigners from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Measures within the framework of fight against illegal migration are continued by the State Migration Service.
