Employees of Regional migration departments awarded on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of State Migration Service

Series of events are continued on the eve of the 12th anniversary of the State Migration Service.

The next event was held at the conference hall of the Aghsu Regional Migration Department of the State Migration Service with the participation of the First deputy chief of the State Migration Service, II rank state migration service counselor Vali Naghiyev and Deputy chief of the State Migration Service, III rank state migration service councelor Elman Aliyev.

Vali Naghiyev, speaking at the event, which was held with the participation of the heads and employees of 7 Regional Migration Department of the State Migration Service - Khachmaz, Aghsu, Shirvan, Yevlakh, Ganja, Shaki, Lankaran, as well as the Detention Center for illegal migrants and congratulated employees on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of State Migration Service, professional holiday of migration bodies` employees and the Novruz holiday, which has been celebrated by our people with great joy as a sign of national unity, kindness and fraternity through centuries and wished them success.

First deputy chief of the service spoke about development path of the State Migration Service within 12 years and noted the achievements. He mentioned that the past period had been significant for the workers. He noted, that after the establishment of the State Migration Service with the decree of the President Ilham Aliyev dated March 19, 2007 advanced migration legislation was adopted and improved, management system was established in the field of migration based on modern information technologies, the quality of service was increased and complex measures were taken in the direction of increasing citizens’ satisfaction.

Vali Naghiyev said that the State Migration Service successfully implemented its duties within 12 years. First deputy chief of the Service also noted that he was sure that the employees would continue to implement their duties successfully and act according to the requirements of the legislation in the field of controlling migration processes in the country.

Later orders signed by the Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov on the occasion of 12th anniversary of the State Migration Service were announced. According to the decree a number of employees were awarded for their behavior and responsible attitude to their service duties.

11 employees were awarded with the certificate of merit and 3 with the third degree medal of the Republic of Azerbaijan for “impeccable service in migration bodies”. 5 employees were awarded with pre-term special rank. And 10 employees have been commended.
