State Migration Service launches its new platform

An upward trend in population mobility around the world necessitates application of policies based on academic researches in management of migration on the basis of flexible and effective procedures.

Taking the aforementioned into consideration, the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan launches Azerbaijan Migration Researches Initiative (AMRI) in order to promote researches in the field of migration in the country, as well as to involve academia in migration management. AMRI is a special platform established by the initiative of the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan which is considered for researchers and experts carrying out professional academic activity in the field of migration.

AMRI will support establishing relations between the academia and the State Migration Service, as well as the local and international partners of the Service.

Researchers with master or higher degrees, as well as experts specialized in this field are kindly required to send their CV’s and other information reflecting their practice in migration field (For instance: the name, link or electronic versions of magazine in which their researches were published) to research@migration.gov.az email by May 31, 2019.
