State Migration Service held an awareness raising event in the Aghsu Regional Migration Department

A legal awareness raising event has been held by the State Migration Service in the Aghsu Regional Migration Department on establishment history, development period and activity directions of the State Migration Service.

In total 73 persons, including representatives of the relevant government agencies, court, law-enforcement bodies, health institutions, public organizations, employers, entrepreneurs of the district, as well as foreigners and stateless persons participated in the event, which was organized in the headquarters of the Aghsu Regional organization of the New Azerbaijan Party.

Head of the Law department of the Aghsu district executive power Tofig Karimov spoke about the importance of the awareness raising event held by the State Migration Service.

Later comprehensive information about establishment history, development period and activity directions of the State Migration Service was delivered to the participants by the competent official of the Aghsu Regional Migration Department. At the awareness-raising event through video slide detailed information was provided on increased e-services in order to meet citizens satisfaction, recruitment of young employees to the State Migration Service, increase of the capacity of the Service, activity of migration units which provide 24 hours service at the “Samur”, “Astara” and “Shikhli” border checkpoints, awareness raising events about migration legislation in the cities and districts which are included to the service area of the Regional Migration Departments of the Service, mobile services, as well as regional conferences on eradication of statelessness.

At the end of the event questions of the participants were answered.
