Chief of the State Migration Service Vusal Huseynov met with the members of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce

Representatives of the member companies to the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce, as well as businessmen from Azerbaijan and Germany attended the event.

Vusal Huseynov, the Chief of the State Migration Service, emphasized the importance of these traditional meetings that contribute to the progress of dialogue between the state and private sector by expressing his gratitude to Tobias Baumann, the executive director of the Chamber and the member of the board of directors of AHK Azerbaijan, for the organization of the event. By mentioning the advantages of the latest amendments in the migration legislation, the Chief also told that regular analyses were conducted in this sphere, the current process all over the world was tracked and new proposals would be made in the future to regulate the state`s migration policy, based on international norms and national legislation. Furthermore, by underlining the constant attention of the head of state to tourism, the observation of recent positive dynamics in this direction, simplification of the development of migration rules and visa requirements in order to increase the attractiveness of the country from the viewpoint of tourism, labor migration and investments, the Service chief highlighted the activities to ensure transparency in the sphere, to increase the number of electronic service and implemented innovative projects, as well.

Emphasizing the State Migration Service`s highest score (68,98%) among central executive bodies in the 2017-2018 evaluation on “ASAN Service index”, Vusal Huseynov highlighted the constant awareness-raising and information activities by the Service and the introduction of the “MIGAZ” mobile application.

Later, the Service chief responded to the questions of representatives of the member companies of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce and businessmen, and discussed a number of issues in the event.
