State Migration Service held awareness-raising event in Gusar

An awareness-raising event about promotion of the migration legislation and activity of the migration unit at the “Samur” border checkpoint has been held by the State Migration Service in Gusar, which is included in the service area of the Khachmaz regional migration department.

60 people consisting of the representatives of the executive authorities, municipalities, socially active residents of the villages bordering with the Russian Federation, as well as foreigners attended the event.

In the awareness-raising event, Deputy chief of the Khachmaz regional migration department and sector chief of the Department informed the participants about the latest amendments in the migration legislation and the services rendered at the “Samur” border checkpoint. Moreover, discussions were held on the subject and the questions were responded.

After the event, further meetings were held at the Zukhur, Khanoba, Shirvanly customs posts located at the border of Azerbaijan with Russian Federation and detailed information was given about the activity of the migration unit at the “Samur” border checkpoint.
