140 foreigners detained during the measures against illegal migration

140 foreigners have been detained by the State Migration Service within the framework of the measures against illegal migration during the last week. 3 of them were detected during the joint operations with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

It was determined that 9 detainees were engaged in activity not in line with the stated purpose of visit, 2 persons did not live in the registered address and the rest 129 detainees were found to be staying in the country illegally.

Administrative decisions were adopted concerning 114 persons, the other 26 illegal migrants are awaiting expulsion from the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
